Prepare Yourself!

Proper patient preparation:
Abdominal Ultrasound-Nothing to eat or drink 8 hours prior to your exam.
Pelvic Ultrasound-Drink 16 ounces of clear liquid 1 hour prior to your exam.

I was thinking of you yesterday when I sat for two hours waiting with my husband for and MRI at offcourse my local hospital. Things don't run as smooth in other places. Maybe I'm just bias :)

Ultrasounds are a cost effective, non-invasive,radiation-free painless test that replace outdated methods. Patients that have been exposed to previous methods are fortunate to now use this up to date testing.
